About the project

Módulo Engenharia sells automation, electrical engineering and field maintenance for industry that cannot afford to stop. The site is a single-page journey that opens on a cinematic offshore hero, walks through six services and the four operating segments, and closes on a contact block that turns a visitor into a direct WhatsApp conversation with an engineer. It is a static Astro build with a self-hosted GSAP, ScrollTrigger and Lenis stack and self-hosted fonts, no CDN in production, content driven from typed source files, and Vitest guarding the WhatsApp and form logic.

How it was built

Cinematic offshore hero

An offshore oil platform at dusk slowly pulls back as you scroll, drawn as a frame sequence scrubbed on a canvas with GSAP and Lenis. It degrades to a static poster under reduced-motion, no-JS or missing frames.

Four heavy-industry segments

Mining, steel, offshore and energy each get their own read, from yard machines and long-distance conveyors to blast-furnace instrumentation and offshore control and safety systems.

WhatsApp message builder

The contact block keeps WhatsApp as the primary channel: a short form assembles a ready message with name, company and segment and opens a direct conversation with an engineer, with no server round trip.

Static Astro, no CDN

Built as a static Astro site with fonts and the GSAP/Lenis stack self-hosted and no CDN in production, editable content centralized in typed source files, and Vitest tests over the WhatsApp, form and build logic.
